Capricorn 2020 Horoscope

Your financial potential gets a big boost this year, thanks to Jupiter in Aquarius, your solar second house of personal money. A nice salary increase or bonus, and a windfall from an unlucky source are all possible. Although you’ll attract money, you’ll also be in the mood to spend freely. But this lucky influence only lasts a year, so set a goal to increase your net worth rather than just stay even. The chance to get ahead financially is a gift from the universe not to be wasted.
Your solar second house is about more than money. It represents all of your resources, including your marketable skills and talents. Give yourself credit for all you have to offer; if you feel underpaid or underemployed, begin to think about how you can change that situation, if not this year, then next.
Also take a look around your house. Too much stuff? If so, you could profit from cleaning out closets, storage spaces, the attic and basement, and then turning your discards into cash. You might even discover a hidden treasure or two that’s worth considerably more than you imagine, either in your own home or at a yard sale or thrift shop. So be cautious as you toss out unwanted items, especially in May, June, and December when Jupiter will join forces with Neptune in Aquarius. What seems worthless might in actuality be valuable.
Neptune can also make a poor deal seem like a fabulous one. Remember, you always get what you pay for and some bargains are anything but. Keep that in mind if you plan to invest or purchase electronics, where an extended warranty might be worth the extra cost.
But as much as Neptune can mask the truth, it’s also a terrific influence to attract just about anything you want. Try visualization, for example, if you’re in search of a true bargain or aiming for a big raise, and then listen to your intuition. The combination can work wonders if you truly believe you deserve what you desire.
Saturn spends most of the year in Virgo, nearly completing its transit of your solar ninth house before moving on to Libra October 29. (It will return briefly to Virgo next spring.) This is one of the best times in your life to return to school for a degree or advanced certification to prepare for a career change or to open up new opportunities for advancement. If you began this process when Saturn entered Virgo, you should aim to complete your education by this fall or spring of the next year.
There are other choices to make the most of Saturn in Virgo. Take a class for the sheer pleasure of learning, travel where you can experience other cultures, enroll in a week-long seminar at a vacation destination to master new hobby skills, or get involved in a community historical or museum project. What you do isn’t as important as doing something to expand your horizons and your knowledge.
What makes this a particularly ideal time for learning is Saturn’s exact alignment with Uranus in Pisces, your solar third house, in February and September. These two planets first joined forces last November, so the events that occurred then will conclude this year. Although this Saturn/Uranus lineup is itself a stressful one, both signs (Virgo and Pisces) are friendly to your sign.
This means you can successfully channel the energy into positive endeavors. But don’t expect everything to go exactly as planned! Uranus is the planet of the unexpected and sudden opportunities, so be ready to snap up the best of the best that come your way. Even so, it would be wise to avoid travel during the months that Saturn/ Uranus is active because of the increased chance for delays, lost luggage, and cancellations.
If you’ve ever wanted to explore your psyche to better understand what motivates you and what holds you back, 2020 is a terrific year. Chances are, you’ll be surprised by what you discover about yourself. Therapy is one option, or you could join a self-help group or read motivational, self-help books in order to maximize your potential.
Your career will be in high focus once Saturn begins its two and a half year trip through Libra, your solar tenth house. This transit is made to order for Capricorns because it’s the pinnacle you’ve been preparing for, the time to achieve your worldly ambitions.
Do all you can to firmly establish your career path while Saturn is in Libra so you can continue to capitalize on it for at least the next fourteen years.
That career path may alter course during the last two months of the year as Saturn clashes with Pluto in Capricorn. You might suddenly realize that what you thought was the ideal career direction no longer is—because you are changing. But this Saturn/Pluto alignment could also fuel your current career ambitions to the max. Be cautious if that’s true. It would be easy to alienate the very sup- porters you need in your relentless pursuit of success.
Pluto moves slowly.
It will be in Capricorn the next four years, so you may not fully experience its effects until it contacts your Sun. Nevertheless, this tiny but powerful planet will have an impact in your life this year, if only through what you experience in your immediate environment. Major changes will occur that will affect you in some way. And they will plant the seeds for the personal transformation that will occur when Pluto meets your Sun. Observe what happens around you and how the planetary energy is influencing other people and the world at large. You can benefit from this knowledge in the years to come.
